Hey, I'm just wondering why the rule seems to always be that Team Damage is turned On for Clan Battles or Tournaments of any kind. Question

Since most of the main servers have TD Off, why do we do the "organized" Battles with it switched On?

It's no big deal, I can get used to it again pretty quick. I'm just wondering...

cuz it'd be dumb for people to just run around dbl tapping everything, in battles they want you to play with some kinda skill... i.e. not shooting blindly into your teammates hoping to get a kill on tantive

I guess I'm with Frenzii on this one it puts the players in a more realistic battle, even though I prefer TD off when I play normally.

If it's a big battle, it should be TD Off, because you are going to team kill a lot by accident. If it's small, it should be TD on

I always laugh when the word "skill" comes up when people debate about td off vs. td on. You can be very skillfull at both. The only thing that changes is style of gameplay. Anyone claiming that it takes more skill playing td on is full of it.

yea TD off and on are two different types of gameplays..you need to be able to adapt whatever class you are playing to whatever style of gameplay it is...like grunts in td on will tend to hug their opponent a lot because than it takes away detpacks and mines, unless they kill themselves. Where as with td off, you can't do that so u have to learn to be accurate with a blaster from a distance. That's just one example.

I usually try to play as if it was TD on in a TD off room. If u succeed while doing that than playing in TD on rooms becomes a lot easier. Wink
